Front Porch is where we meet newbies and answer questions about how the NoteBored functions.
General Ramblings is where we talk about all sorts of things when we aren't writing. We have topics that range through general, political, religious, in the news and games.
Writer's Workshop is the heart of what the NoteBored is about. Writer's post their work for review and glean comments. We have several different categories in this section, including: short stories, poems, novel chapters, reviews, plays, creative non-fiction, childrens stories, adult content, classroom and writing excercises forums.
Challenges is where we hold regular writing "games" designed to spur you on to write by offering topics and time limits in which to finish them. Weekly challenges begin on Mondays (for short stories) and Wednesdays (for poetry). In addition to this, we often have other various challenges and duels in motion.
Markets is where we collect writers guidelines for publications as a group and then share the resources and our experience with each publisher / editor that is under that listing. The benefit to using a message board for our listings is that this leaves room for lots of conversation.
